OTW
That’s where it all happens. The planning and preparation (which is a lot of fun for me), gets put to the test. Each trip is an experience. Whether alone or with a friend, its always some type of an adventure as I put everything I can into each trip. Walking miles, endless casts (ridiculous amount of “last casts”), measuring risks (“can I get out on that rock”, “is theĀ current to fast to wade out in”, “is the trough to deep”), decisions on what to throw, where to throw, what part of the water column….it goes on and on as I get lost in the fishing experience. And to do all this in the incredible surf…….It’s breath taking. I hate to see the light on the horizon as the fishing in the dark is intense, senses heightened. But the incredible sun rise brings colors that paint a beautiful sky……time to call the end to the trip.
