Paul Moriarty is the plug builder, the Professor. The quality of his plugs and the performance of them is second to none. I am very fortunate to have and fish a few.
I have two different sizes.
- 5″ , wight from 1.3 oz – 1.7 oz, the heavier are made from maple.
- 6″, weight from 1.8 oz to 2.8 oz, the heavier are made with maple.
- I put a dot on the bottom of the plug to ID the maple.
- They come with cut 3/0 9671 o front and back. I am fishing them as of 2026 with one BKK Viper 41 2/0.
