The Outcast Surfer with the MagNeat casts great for a metal lip and is stable in rough water and swims nice in calm water. My favorite metal lip. Started using it with only the front hook. The magnet really helps in eliminating leader/hook tangles on casts…big time. At around 3.5 oz, my Evolution rod can handle it and get solid distance. At the top end for the rod as far as comfortably handling it. Love fishing it with this rod.
